Job Description
As India based Key SQL Server Database Administrator, you would be the primary contact for any SQL database related queries related to data modeling/tuning to database Administration. Your primary role would be to perform Production and development SQL Server environment support functions in Global Setup. (monitoring database activity, respond to issues, research issues, implement solutions, respond to help desk ticket, manage tickets effectively.)

You will perform database design and implementation tasks including design database naming convention and physical storage configuration, perform database export and import, data migration/conversion and database performance tuning, develop data dictionary documentation, execute full data conversion and troubleshoot application database issues (identify database server issues vs. application issues) and maintain large databases (terabytes of data).

You would also support and represent Intrasphere Technologies and specifically, the IT services group. You will develop and deliver presentations to the group and Intrasphere Technologies and participate in other knowledge sharing activities.
