Physical Design Engineer

Job Description :
In this position, your responsibilities may include: design of full chip and/or block level layout, including but not limited to auto-place and route algorithms, floor planning, full-chip assembly, packaging, and verification; RTL synthesis, Static Timing Analysis, circuit design, circuit checking, device evaluation and characterization, documentation of specifications, prototype construction and checkout, modification and evaluation of semiconductor devices and components, performing developmental and/or test work, reviewing product requirements and logic diagrams, planning and organizing design projects or phases of design projects. You will also responsible to develop solutions to problems utilizing formal education
and judgment.

Qualifications
You must possess a Master of Science degree or a Master of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering or a Bachelor of Science degree or a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electrical Engineering preferably in VLSI.

Additional qualifications include:
- Good concepts in digital design, CMOS and VLSI design
- Proficiency in back end design processes including synthesis, timing analysis, Formal verification, Place and route and layout verification
- Proficiency in multiple levels of layout design which includes data path, register files, standard cell designs and mixed-signal blocks
- Good expertise in CAD tool usage, scripting
- Understanding of custom circuit design would be an added advantage
