Job Description

GIT Sysops Crisis Response Center is responsible for maintaining IT infrastructure round the clock for Oracle Internal and external customer. This is highly skilled professional team who manages the availability/restoration part of the IT services to the organization.
Job Title - Sysops Systems Analyst-IC2
JOB SUMMARY:
Oracle GIT Service Operation Sysops Systems Analyst will be first point of contact for the OS outages & Severity 1 issues. He will be resposible for solving the outages & Severity 1 issues within SLAs for the Internal & External customers of Oracle.

Brief Posting Description: - MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education / Certifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Engg Computer Science or equivalent experience or combination of related education and experience.
- RHCE, Sun Solaris Cerified,CCNA
Knowledge/Skills:
- Daily Administration on support of UNIX and Storage Servers including OS Installation/upgrade, System performance monitoring, hardware diagnostics.
- Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issue.
- Remote administration of servers in large scale Data Centers.
- Printer & FTP Administration & Troubleshooting.
- Writing shell scripts for day to day system administration task
- Fine tune system for optimal performance.
- Knowledge of SAN and NAS technologies.
- Creating and updating operational documentation: run books, maintenance procedures
Knowledge of Oracle database will be added advantage
- Experience in Net backup environment
- Candidate must be a team player who is willing to seek and give technical advice across functional group boundaries and/or suppliers and collaborate with peers and managers on technical or project issues, handle customer expectations and escalations
- Would be required to work on weekends as and when required to provide continued, mission critical support to Oracle’s customers. Should be flexible to work in 24x7 mode
- Ability to work, communicate and coordinate activities with Customers, Product Development and other responsible groups.
- Highly motivated - self-starter
- 3 – 4 years large-scale Data Center experience with a proven track record of System Administration skills and responding to OS and Hardware incidents
- 2 - 3 years of good understanding of network and performance issues from the OS perspective.
- Knowledge of ITIL or other Incident Management processes preferred
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.

Experience 3 - 8 Years

Education UG - Any Graduate - Any Specialization
PG - Any PG Course - Any Specialization,Post Graduation Not Required
