Job Description

The responsibilities of the position are:

Design and implement project modules
Should be able to gather and understand business requirements
Prepare detailed functional specifications for the modules assigned
Mentor junior developers

Desired Candidate Profile
The requirements are:

•2-5 years of software development experience
•Must have an engineering degree or MCA
•Object-Oriented Analysis and Design, RDBMS concepts
•Sound Computer Science fundamentals is essential
•Strong Knowledge of Core Java is a must
•Experience in writing J2EE applications with hands on experience on Java, JSP, Servlets, XML, RDBMS concepts
•Web development experience using JSP, Struts, Javascript, Ajax
•Experience with at least one of the J2EE Application servers like WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss is a must
•Experience working in a very process oriented organization
•Experience in Microsoft technologies is desirable but not mandatory
•Exposure ECM/BPM applications like FileNet and Documentum is highly desirable
•Familiar with Enterprise Content Management understanding and any hands-on experience is a plus
•Have work experience with ECM products like EMC Documentum, IBM FileNet P8, IBM Content Manager, Unisys InfoImage, Global 360 etc. would be a plus
•Have work experience with SQL, Oracle, DB2 databases is a plus
•Excellent analysis and design skills
•Must be a fast learner
•Should be able to present and communicate effectively with clients, team members and management
•Excellent interpersonal skills
