Job Description
Analyze customer requirements.

Maintenance, Verification and rebaselining of ongoing releases.

Implementation and test of new feature upgrades in 3GPP Release 6 and beyond.

Operate a software driven test bench

Desired Profile Mandatory Skills:

Experience in the design, development, and verification of Cellular radio access (GSM/GPRS/EDGE/WCDMA) Protocol software systems.
Understanding of 3G Access Stratum (RLC/MAC/RRC) Layers/ Physical Layer, good understanding of Idle mode procedures
Understanding of Generic Protocol Platform Framework
Experience in model-based engineering using SDL
Proficient in both C and C++. Embedded SW development experience, Working knowledge of real time debuggers like Lauterbach
Good analysis and debugging skills.
Good understanding on Configuration Management tools preferably Clearcase.
Excellent problem solving, logic building and analytical skill.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
